Music Genre(s):

We are an Everyman's Rock Band with blue-collar roots and a broad range of influences such as classic rock, blues, funk, outlaw country, oldschool punk/hardcore, and modern rock. It is our mission to bring Rock to the masses by scaling the walls of contemporary sub-genres to rock you. As it is written, so shall it be done.

Half Empty's current line up was formed by Grant Newton IV in the summer of 2007 in Indianapolis. It's members (Grant Newton IV-vocals/guitar, "Nasty" Nate Mains-guitar/vocals, Lendell Ervin II-bass, and Cory J. Miller-drums) all hail from Connersville, IN and have known and played with each other since childhood. It is the shared experiences of childhood that create the band members' bond, but it is the combination of Grant's crooning vocals and blues guitar riffs, Nate's Van Halen style solos, Lendell's soulful bass lines, and Cory's hard-hitting beats that give Half Empty their unique sound.
