Seven Acres has quickly earned a reputation as a hardworking and versatile group playing down home funk and gypsy soul. Seven Acres creates songs that seem familiar yet are completely unique and are impossible to pigeonhole into one specific musical style. Galloway’s mind-blowing riffs along with Winebrenner’s deep pocketed rhythms are the perfect canvas for Salaz’s soulful voice which leaves any listener craving more. With several talented players rotating in the bass position, the band continues to expand their abilities and exceed musical limits.
Formed as an underground recording collaboration between rising upstarts and "Jam Scene" legends, Seven Acres features Neal Galloway of Chicago, Illinois on guitar, Jake Winebrenner of Auburn, Indiana on drums, and Zack Salaz of Indianapolis, Indiana with vocals. Chris Chew of the North Mississippi Allstars provides bass on the recently-released self-titled debut album, Seven Acres.
