The Mousetrap is known for providing Indianapolis a Jam Band venue. Many of the best Jam Bands in the Midwest have graced our stage; from Groovatron and The Twin Cats to Jassy Grazz and Strawberry Larry. We are known for our John's Famous Stew as well as great wings and a full menu. The Trap is very casual. We're open from 10am - 3:30am every day. Play some pool before the show on 5 pool tables.
The Mousetrap was built in 1957 at the S.E. corner of 56th and Keystone. It has taken on different forms over the years, from cajun retaurant to pool hall, but has always been a neighborhood pub. These days the main attraction of the bar is it's great diversity. there is always a great mix of cultures and people either there for the live music or to play pool or watch the game. It has alittle of everything you need without the pretentiousness of the "corporate" clubs.
